We roast small batches every half hour, every day the shop is open — between 500 and 1,000 pounds of green coffee daily depending on the season. The beans on the shelf were roasted the same day you buy them, and online orders ship at peak freshness.

Yes. Tell us how you brew — drip, pour-over, French press, espresso, cold brew — and we’ll grind to match, in-store or when you order online. Whole bean stays freshest longest if you grind at home.

Green beans rested in freshly emptied bourbon barrels from Wigle Whiskey — a fellow Pittsburgh maker — then roasted in-store. The result is a coffee with whiskey-barrel aroma and no alcohol. Batches are limited and sell out.
